Clark County Sheriff Sales
At the time of the sale, 10% of the down payment will only be accepted in cash, a cashier's check, or a certified bank check.
The balance of the bid that is to be paid to the Clerk of Courts after the Court's confirmation of sale must also be in cash, a cashier's check, or a certified bank check.

Bidding Procedure
The opening bid is announced, anyone can bid on the property with the property being awarded to the highest bidder.
Eligible Third-Party Bidder Affidavit
As of 10/1/18, the Eligible Third-Party Bidder Affidavit will need to be completed prior to bidding on the sale. Please bring the completed form with you on the day of the sale. To print this form, please click here.
Confirmation of Sale
At a later date after the sale, the Court will hold a hearing called a Confirmation of Sale. To obtain the date of the hearing, visit the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access Consolidated Court Automation Program (CCAP) via the internet at http://wcca.wicourts.gov/index.xsl Once the court confirms the sale, the balance of the successful bid must be paid to the Clerk of Courts Office in cash, a cashier's check, or a certified bank check no later than ten days after the hearing or else the 10% down payment is forfeited to the plaintiff.
Cancellations/Adjournments
Sales are subject to cancellation and/or adjournment at any time without notice. If you want to confirm that a sale is going to take place that day, please check the website.

Clark County Sheriff Sales are held on Wednesdays at 10 AM on the third floor by the Sheriff's Office area of the Clark County Courthouse, located at 517 Court Street, Neillsville, Wisconsin.
Specific Information
The Sheriff's Office does not have any specific information regarding the condition of a property being sold. Persons interested in obtaining information about a property are encouraged to contact the attorney or lender who is foreclosing on the property. The property is sold “as is”, is not available for viewing, and subject to all liens, encumbrances, and unpaid real estate taxes.
Terms
Pursuant to said judgment, 10% of the successful bid must be paid to the Clerk of Courts Office at the time of the sale in cash, cashier's check, or a certified bank check, payable to the Clerk of Courts Office. Personal checks cannot and will not be accepted. The buyer must comply with minimum bidder qualifications as set forth in Wis. Stat. 846.155. The balance of the successful bid and the real estate transfer fee must be paid to the Clerk of Courts Office in cash, cashier's check, or certified funds, no later than ten 10 days after the court's confirmation of the sale or else the 10% down payment is forfeited to the Plaintiff. The property is sold as is, is not available for viewing, and subject to all liens, encumbrances, and unpaid real estate taxes.
