    Snyder Park and Campground Attention Snyder Customers Snyder Park experienced extensive tree damage from tornados in December of 2021. Some campsites are missing the trees they once had. Over the next two years tree planting will be a priority for Snyder Park and Campground. If you have questions or concerns please call the Forestry and Parks Dept. at 715-743-5140. Admission Fee: Park use is free. Campsites range from $30 per night. Please keep off grass areas. Located in the Town of Hewett, Section 11, Arndt Road. The peaceful and relaxing setting of Snyder County Park, offers a quality family recreational experience. This park and campground is located on the 28 acre Snyder Lake. Snyder is a no-wake lake, providing for slower paced water recreation. Recent improvements to Snyder Park and Campground have provided for exceptional camping opportunities. Direct access to the ATV trails from your campsite provides a unique camp and ride opportunity. Snyder Park does not have a sand beach area. Campsites are available for reservation May 1st through September 30th. Self-registration camping is available throughout the remainder of the year but please note that campground facilities are extremely limited during this time and we cannot guarantee access during these months. The heated shower building does remain open through the end of the nine day gun deer hunting season. As with all of our campgrounds, we do offer special rates for those who have extended stays.     School Groups Tubing or Lift Ticket: $10.00 each. Ski or Snowboard Equipment Rental: $10.00 each. Ski Lessons & Helmets: Free-Subject to Availability. Chaperones: Receive Free Ticket and Equipment Rental. School groups are a major part of what we do at Bruce Mound. By having school groups visit us we are both reaching individuals who may not have the means to experience winter alpine sports as well attempting to grow and expand our customer base. It is because of this dual opportunity that we provide the great discount pricing seen above. We also give all school groups several discount cards upon leaving the hill. These cards are to be used at the schools discretion as student rewards. The discount card will be eligible for use towards the student’s transaction total on their next visit during this season. School group rates do not apply during days open to the public except during special promotional events. School groups who attend during these special promotional events will not receive discount cards for these days. Home school groups receive the same rates as other school groups. All school groups must supply a copy of their tax exempt status

The clerk also plans and coordinates the monthly board agendas and serves as a secretary to the county board and other various county committees. One of the clerk's primary responsibilities is administering elections, which includes: Keeping the municipal clerks informed of election law changes through training Preparation and distribution of ballots Providing the municipal clerk's with election supplies Publishing legal notices The county clerk advises and informs candidates for county office as to the procedure necessary to get his/her name on the ballot, receives and files nomination papers for county office, checks and decides sufficiency of nomination papers, declaration of acceptance if elected, financial statements, and is the filing officer for county primary, general, judicial, and special elections. Licenses & Permits Issued In Wisconsin, marriage licenses are issued by the county clerks. The clerk must verify that the parties may marry and that the age and residency requirements are met before issuing a license. Wood cutting permits are also issued through the Clerk's Office. The Clerk's Office orders and distributes the dog tag supplies to all the municipal treasurers who collect these fees and issue the licenses in their municipalities. A small portion of the fees collected remains in the municipalities but the majority of the fees collected are turned over to the county. This money is used to pay out dog damage claims filed with the county. The county clerk reports to the executive, legislative, and judicial committee.
