Green Woods Candles

Green Woods candles are the "green" alternative to regular paraffin candles. Our soy candles are made with 100% vegetable wax from soybeans. Traditional paraffin candles are made from a derivative of crude oil and release toxins, such as the known carcinogens formaldehyde and benzene, into the air we breathe. Not only are these emissions unhealthy but unsightly as well. Black soot from the paraffin wax adheres to walls and ceilings.

Soy candles contain none of these toxins and burns without leaving behind a sooty residue. Best of all, because soy wax melts at a much lower temperature, they last up to 50% longer.

Green Woods firestarters are great for the campfire or fireplace. They require no kindling and are made out of recycled materials and the same soy wax used in our candles.
